Featured Pet Of The Week

Hi, I'm Tulip! I'm super sweet and loving. My friends here at the shelter say I'm perfect! I'm calm and quiet in the kennel. I get along with other animals, and I do well on the leash. I'd love to find my forever home to spend my days relaxing and cuddling with my people!

CAN RECYCLING
Due to Covid-19, we must institute the following rules concerning can recycling. These rules are designed to keep our staff and volunteers, and the recycling staff all safe.
- Aluminum drink cans must be bagged together , with NO OTHER ALUMINUM IN THE BAG. Rinsed and crushed is always nice, but not necessary.
-Aluminum food cans, aluminum foil and pans must be bagged together. If foil or pans are very dirty, please wash first or dispose of elsewhere.
-Steel cans must be bagged in their own bags. Please wash.
NO bags should contain trash!!!
We cannot recycle your empty Styrofoam cups, your skoal can and spit bottle or your dirty diapers.
We DO NOT recycle glass or plastic, so please do not include it.
This program was instituted by a volunteer to help raise funds for extra medical care of the animals that are brought here; please help keep it going by following the above rules. Help us help the animals!!!

Amanda
3 - 4 years   Female (spayed)

I'm Amanda! I came to the shelter with my friend Bentley. We lived in a house with a bunch of other cats, so the shelter setting is very new to me. Because of that I might need some time and patience to adjust to new people. I love being pet and I'll make a great companion once I warm up to you!

Bentley
3 years    Male (neutered)

I'm new to the shelter so I'm still trying to adjust. I came to the shelter with my friend Amanda. We lived in a home with other cats, so I'm still getting used to the shelter setting. I'm a little scared at first, just give me some time to warm up and I'll show you my sweet side!

Jag

Bowie (currently in foster to adopt)
1 year   Male

Hi, I'm Bowie! I was at the shelter months ago when I was a kitten. Unfortunately, I didn't do well in that home, so I was brought back to the shelter. I'm very sweet, and I love spending time one on one with people!

Lauren - Labrador Retriever mix (52 lbs)
1 - 3 year(s)   Female

Hi, I'm Lauren! I've been at the shelter since early October - longer than any other animal! I'm a big bundle of love and energy, and I love meeting new people! I was adopted once, but their other dog didn't like me, so if you have other dogs, I'd like to meet them at the shelter before I come home with you.

Nebula - Lab mix (51 lbs)
2 - 3 years   Female (spayed/UTD on vaccinations)

I'm Nebula! I've been at the shelter since October - I'm one of the longest animal residents! I'm super sweet and friendly, I get along with most dogs, and I LOVE cuddles and hugs!! Come to the shelter, I'd love to meet you!

Nub - Border Collie, Labrador mix (46 lbs)
5 years   Male (neutered/UTD on vaccinations)

I was a stray and came in with my front paw missing. That doesn't stop me though! I can still walk, run, and play just fine! I think it makes me super unique! My only vice is I do not get along with other male dogs or cats. I love the snow! I make snow angels and love to stick my whole face in it.

Boone - Black and Tan Coonhound (58lbs)
3 - 4 years   Male (neutered/UTD on vaccinations)

I'm Boone! I'm super affectionate and playful. As long as someone's petting me I'm happy! I would do best in a home/lifestyle that allows me to get plenty of exercise and playtime! I will need to have a fenced in yard because my nose can get the best of me.

Slammer - Retriever mix (44 lbs)
1 year   Male (neutered/UTD on vaccinations)

I'm a young, handsome, smart, and happy boy. I like other dogs. I know a few commands. I know how to sit and wait for you to give me the command to eat my kibble!

Bunny - German Shepard mix (52lbs)
2 years   Female

I'm Bunny! I'm a curious, adventurous girl. I love sniffing around and exploring! I do well on a leash, and I listen well. I love meeting new friends, so I'd love for you to come to the shelter and meet me!

Cleveland - Australian Cattle Dog mix (46lbs)
5 years   Male (neutered/UTD on vaccinations)

I'm Cleveland! I get a little nervous, so I tend to shake in my kennel, but when I'm with other people I thrive! I like to think I'm a lap dog, even if my friends at the shelter say I'm a little too big for that!

Luke - Large Mixed Breed (44 lbs)
1 - 3 year(s)   Male

I'm Luke! I'm a bit of a wild child; I'm super energetic and playful, but I listen when I'm told to calm down. I'm a super sweet boy, and I love meeting new people!

Birdie - Labrador Retriever (53lbs)
1 - 3 year(s)   Female

Hi, I'm Birdie! Everyone says I'm super sweet! I'm affectionate, I do well on the leash, and I'm always trying to play with other puppies!

Katrina - Medium Mixed Breed (45 lbs) (currently in foster to adopt)
5 years   Female

I'm Katrina! I'm pretty new to the shelter, so I'm still getting used to my new environment. I've been pretty timid since I got here, but I haven't acted aggressive. I'll probably need some more time to warm up, but I'd love to meet some new people!
